James Delucia
Paraplanner & Associate Advisor
James is a Paraplanner and Associate Advisor at Quest Capital & Risk Management, Inc. He began as an intern in the summer of 2023 and returned the following winter, accepting a full-time position after earning his bachelor's degree in finance from SUNY Oneonta. While at Oneonta, James competed on the NCAA wrestling team and was inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society, recognizing student-athletes for academic excellence, athletic achievement and strong character.
James is committed to continuous growth and professional development in the financial planning space. He holds the Series 65 qualification, demonstrating a deep understanding of investment strategies, economics and fiduciary best practices. He has completed C2P's Tax Management Journey as well as the Bucket Plan 1.0 and 2.0 trainings, reflecting his commitment to mastering C2P's industry-leading, academically grounded, and client-focused planning process used by top advisors across the country.
At Quest, James supports clients by addressing service needs, assisting lead advisors in building holistic financial plans, and analyzing firm performance metrics. Outside of work he enjoys reading, traveling, running, grappling, and kickboxing.

James Mantione is a Client Service Associate at Quest and is a recent graduate of Pace University's Lubin School of Business, graduating with a finance degree. He completed a summer internship with Northwestern Mutual, where he began his learning of wealth management and insurance skills.
He was a member and captain of the Pace Men's Lacrosse team, which highlighted his leadership skills, time management skills and academic focus. In high school, James focus and follow through led him to achieving the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America.

Marie Madarasz, AIF® is a Lead Advisor and Financial Planner at Quest Capital & Risk Management, Inc. and has nearly two decades of experience in the financial services industry. She is the co-author of the book Income For Life, The Retiree's Guide to Creating Income from Savings. She enjoys being part of a team that has a positive impact on clients' financial lives by helping them develop and maintain investment and income strategies that help them pursue the life they’ve worked hard for in retirement.
As an active member of the financial planning community and a lifelong learner, Marie has received the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation from Fi360 and is currently completing the coursework necessary to sit for the exam for the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation from the College of Financial Planning. As an AIF® designee, she has been certified specifically for her ability to follow a fiduciary process with her clients’ best interests at heart. Marie is also a proud member of Ed Slott’s Elite IRA Advisor GroupSM . Earning these designations show that she is committed to following and adhering to a code of ethics, continuing education, and always putting her clients’ best interests first.
As a strong advocate of financial life planning and education, Marie has completed specialized courses including the Money Quotient "Fundamentals of Financial Life Planning" as well as The Kinder Institute of Life Planning’s “The Seven Stages of Money Maturity® Workshop.” Both programs detail how to become an effective communicator with clients so they can truly reflect on what’s important in their lives.
Prior to joining Quest, Marie ran the Secondary Marketing Department at Bankers Federal Savings Bank, where she sold mortgages and mortgage-backed securities into the secondary market. This experience provided her with deep insight into risk management and market dynamics that she carries into her work with clients every day.
Marie was inspired to pursue a career of financial planning because she understands that money has a tether on every part of life, and when clients gain clarity around how they will replace the paycheck in retirement, it enables them to focus on the unique goals that are truly important to them--allowing them to plan for their best lives. She is focused on empowering others with this message.
She is a proud mom of three boys, two of whom play lacrosse and one who is a drummer. In her free time, you can find her hiking local trails, traveling, expressing her creative side through art, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Matthew Brown, EA, CTC, CTRC
Tax Manager
Matthew Brown, EA, CTC, CTRC, is the owner of Renewal Tax Services, LLC, and provides Personalized Tax Planning, IRS tax resolution and representation services, and tax preparation. He is most passionate about relieving his clients’ stress and burden of tax-related matters, including helping them keep more of their money, staying up to date with current tax return and reporting obligations, resolving back tax issues, and avoiding letters from the IRS, among other concerns.
Matt is an Enrolled Agent, which is a designation earned directly from the IRS after passing a series of comprehensive tax exams. He is licensed to represent taxpayers in all 50 states of the United States. He started preparing tax returns professionally in 2010, because he enjoyed doing his own after he kept finding mistakes in returns he had paid to have prepared for himself. Simply put, he wanted to help others get better service than he had received. Matt is also a Certified Tax Representation Consultant, having satisfied Education and Testing requirements for that certification.
In 2025, Matt earned his Designation as a Certified Tax Coach (CTC), which denotes financial expertise, tax planning excellence, and outstanding customer satisfaction. All Certified Tax Planners attend an intensive training academy and are required to complete 24 additional hours of continuing professional education in proactive tax planning each year. Professionals with the Certified Tax Coach designation know how to save their clients thousands of dollars that would otherwise be wasted on unnecessary taxes.
Matt earned his Bachelor’s degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his Master’s degree in Regional Science from The University of Pennsylvania. Born and reared in Miami, Florida, Matt has enjoyed living in both the NYC Metro and Washington, DC Metro areas, but he has since settled in the Greater Philadelphia area with his spouse, Wayne, and Corgi, Theo.

With more than 25 years in the financial services industry, he values the long-term relationships he has with his clients and is passionate about helping them build and maintain successful investment and income strategies that align with their life goals. He prides himself on delivering an outstanding level of service for his clients and he enjoys leading an outstanding team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about coming to work each day and thrive on playing an important role in clients’ lives.
Joe received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, Chartered Financial Consultant designation (ChFC®) from American College, and is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary, (AIF®). He is committed to following and adhering to a code of ethics, continuing education, and always putting his clients’ best interests first. His ChFC® designation is a mark of excellence signifying that he has a comprehensive education in financial planning and knows how to leverage his knowledge of investments, insurance, and tax planning into a financial plan designed for you.
He has served as a Northeast Field Advisory Board Representative with AssetMark, a Fortune 500 company that helps independent financial advisors build strong businesses, and has been recognized as being among their top tier of advisor relationships nationwide.
An accomplished public speaker, he has had the honor of leading over 100 educational workshops for a wide range of national organizations. His enthusiasm for offering straightforward insights into complex financial topics inspires him to engage with audiences and welcome new clients seeking guidance on retirement income strategies.
Joe is a family man and a nature enthusiast. He enjoys hiking, photography, and national parks and has camped at over 14 national parks around the country. He is a proud dad of two boys who have played Division 1 college lacrosse together. When he isn’t cheering his boys on at the field, he also enjoys endurance events, exercising, music, reading, BBQing, and organizing tailgating events for kids from various teams in his area.
